Fine jewelry is durable; however, normal wear and tear can thin ring shanks, prongs, pendant bails and loops. We recommend that jewelry be professionally cleaned and checked at least twice a year. Maintenance can extend the life of your jewelry and perhaps even prevent the loss of a valuable heirloom. Watches and clocks also periodically need to be cleaned and checked.
